Working With Us

Our approach is shaped around the support your organisation needs.

Pay as you go...

Pay as you go support is designed for situations where organisations need timely, senior input without committing to an ongoing arrangement.

It works well where an issue is specific or time bound. This might include advice on an employee relations matter, mediation, decision support, or support with drafting or reviewing documentation. It allows organisations to access experienced support as and when it is needed, in a way that feels proportionate to the issue at hand.

Support is provided on a time basis, with clear expectations agreed upfront. Where matters evolve or require more sustained involvement, we will discuss the most appropriate way to continue, ensuring the approach remains sensible, transparent and aligned to the work required.

Project Support

Project support is suited to situations where work needs to be delivered over a defined period of time, with clarity on scope, responsibilities and outcomes.

This approach works well for organisational change, restructures, investigations, policy reviews, growth activity including acquisitions, or other pieces of work where sustained involvement is needed to see the work through properly. It allows organisations to draw on senior expertise without moving into an ongoing arrangement.

Before work begins, we agree the scope and approach, ensuring expectations are aligned from the outset. As work progresses, we remain pragmatic and responsive, adapting the level of involvement where needed while maintaining clarity around delivery and cost.

Retained Expertise

Retained support is appropriate where organisations value ongoing access to senior HR judgement, without increasing internal headcount or displacing in-house capability.

This model provides continuity and familiarity with the organisation, allowing us to support leaders as issues emerge, evolve or develop over time. It works particularly well where decisions carry heightened risk, complexity or sensitivity, and where having a trusted external perspective is valuable.

Retained support is not about volume or activity. It is about having experienced, independent input available when it matters, alongside leaders and HR teams. Retainers are scoped carefully, reviewed regularly and structured to remain proportionate to the organisation’s needs.
